Houses of earth...in Abruzzo...Case di terra

This weekend I was in Casalincontrada, Abruzzo for a conference/festival regarding earth construction. The pictures were taken during a tour of local houses that had been built with cob (earth and straw loaves), some abandoned, others being restored. Click on the photo above to see the full album. Questo weekend ero a Casalincontrada, Abruzzo per la 'Festa della Terra'. Queste foto ho fatto durante un giro delle case locale fatte con i massoni (pani di terra e paglia), alcune abandonate, altre nel processo di essere restaurate.
